Connexion Mobility Named Approved Vendor For The Ford And Lincoln Courtesy Transportation Programs - Connexion Mobility News

Melbourne Australia: Connexion Mobility Telematics Ltd (“CXZ”, “Connexion Mobility” or “the Company”) is pleased to
announce that it is an Approved Vendor for the Ford Motor Company’s (“Ford”) Ford Courtesy Transportation Program (“FCTP”) and Lincoln Courtesy Transportation Program (“LCTP”).
Connexion Mobility’s fleet & rental management platform will be available to Ford and Lincoln dealerships in the United States from 6 June 2022. Currently trusted by thousands of dealerships across multiple brands, Connexion Mobility welcomes the opportunity to help Ford and Lincoln dealerships to optimize their loaner programs, simplify the rental process, and automate the recovery of expenses such as fuel usage and tolls, all whilst elevating the end customer’s experience.
Connexion Mobility is one of multiple software vendors approved to supply Ford and Lincoln dealers with fleet & rental management software that is customized for the FCTP/LCTP. Consistent with the terms of the FCTP and LCTP, Ford does not mandate the use of any particular vendor’s product.
Furthermore, it is noted that the majority of Ford and Lincoln dealerships already use a Ford-approved software solution today. As such, there is no guarantee that Connexion Mobility will generate any minimum amount of revenue. Instead, it will be incumbent upon Connexion Mobility to market its approved product directly to Ford and Lincoln dealerships.
Notwithstanding the challenges noted above, Ford’s approval of the Connexion Mobility platform is an important milestone as the Company enhances its direct-to-dealer relationships across the United States.
